My name is Cindy Smith. After working in public accounting firms for over 25 years and seeing that the hectic pace and the large volume of clients hindered personalized client service, I decided there had to be a better way. Exhausted and overworked public accountants don’t have time or energy to focus as much as they would like to on the needs of their clients. So, in 2019, I decided to focus on e-commerce businesses because I admire the entrepreneurial spirit of Amazon FBA sellers and e-commerce business owners, I love working with people who are blazing their own trails in life, and there seems to be a real need for a CPA that has a passion for, and experience with, e-commerce accounting.
I live just outside of St. Louis, Missouri, have been married to my wonderful husband, Jim, for many years, and have the most amazing son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Lauren. I love to travel, go sight-seeing and hiking, and absolutely love spending time with my family.
I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, ACFE, and am a founding member and former board member for the Greater St. Louis Area Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. I am also a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor and am Xero Advisor Certified.
